Which system is for me?
VantagePro 2
Select the VantagePro2 if you require a simple installation with a single weather station relaying via wireless link back to your farm office. A basic system will measure air temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, barometric pressure, solar radiation and rain. It includes a display console where you can view data in real-time. Potential Evapotranspiration & Growing Degree Days are also calculated.
You can add the following options, either at the time of installation, or at a later date:
Solar radiation (and Potential Evapotranspiration)
UV (to calculate burning risk)
Mounting pole or tripod
Computer or Web interface
Additional remote wireless temperature & humidity stations
Soil moisture, soil temperature & leaf wetness station
Growing Degree Days calculator
EnviroMonitor
Select the EnviroMonitor System if you require a remote connection via the 3G cell phone network, or if you want a wide network of sensors around your farm.
This system consists of a 3G Gateway connected to a GroWeather weather station measuring air temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, barometric pressure and rain. Data is uploaded via Spark's 3G network to the weatherlink.com web site where you can view the latest data or historic trends. Data can also be seen on a smartphone running the free Mobilize App for Android or Iphone.
You can add the following options, either at the time of installation, or at a later date:
UV (to calculate burning risk)
Mounting pole or tripod
Any number of additional remote wireless nodes that can measure soil moisture, soil temperature, flow meters, flow switches, water level, air temperature & humidity, or rain
